microsoft visual C++ runtime error

Hi everyone,

Ive been using Soulseek to share music files for years, and today a window popped up that said the program was crashing, Microsoft visual C++ runtime error abnormal termination. The file or folder it pointed to was the program file, soulseek folder. Ive uninstalled and removed the soulseek files, then downloaded the new program from the site and get the same message. Adaware and spybot ran and found some spyware and killed it, and i restarted my pc. SAme message. Ive included my Hijack this log since that seems to find problems for those who know what they are doing.
Please help me i really need it.

This is not the same thing as AVG AntiVirus

• Load AVG-antispyware and then click the Update tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.
  
• After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
• Close AVG-Antispyware.

Do not run it yet.

Print the rest of these instructions or save them too a text file on desktop

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode. To boot into Safe Mode, please restart your computer. Tap F8 before Windows loads. Select Safe Mode on the screen that appears.
Sign in with your normal user account

In safe mode
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:

• Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
• Click the "Delete Cookies" button
• Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
• When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK

* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):

• Go to Tools > Options.
• Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
• Click the Clear button located to the right of each option (History, Cookies, Cache).
• Click OK to close the Options window

Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing by clicking Clear All.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the information.
[/list]* Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin

• Go to start > run and type:

cleanmgr and click ok.

• Let it scan your system for files to remove.
• Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
• Press OK to remove them.

AVG-Antispyware Scan

• Load AVG and select the "Scanner" tab
• Click the "Settings" tab and then change the recommended action to Quarantine and ensure that  Automatically generate report after every scan is selected
  
• Click back to the "Scan" tab and then click on Complete System Scan.
  
• Let this scan complete
• AVG will list any infections found on the left hand side. When the scan has finished, it will automatically set the recommended action. Click the Apply all actions button. Ewido will display "All actions have been applied" on the right hand side.
  
  
• Click on "Save Report", then "Save Report As".  This will create a text file.  Make sure you know where to find this file again (like on the Desktop).

Reboot the computer to Normal windows

Back in Windows
In IE go to tools>>Internet Options
Under the Programs tab>>Reset Web settings
Also reset your home page to preferred

2. Post the report from AVG anti-spyware

You can either run Ewido 4 with the instructions I posted or uninstall and upgrade
to AVG 7.5

Or is it the free version?

Can you do the following for me please

Please supply an uninstall list from Hijackthis
Open Hijackthis>>Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button
Save the list to your desktop then copy>>Paste back here the Whole contents

I dont see an Uninstall manager under the misc. section.
Im using Hijack this v1.99.0 , would this matter?
Open process manager and open hosts file manager are the only things i see like that.
Oh and i have the free version of anti-spyware....cant pass on something thats free. Soulseek? Free music? haha
