Unfortunately you didn't save Hijackthis too a permenant folder of it's own
Can you do the following
Right click an empty spot on your desktop
Select NEW>>FOlder
Name the new folder HJT

From my signature below redownload Hijackthis 1.99.1 and save it to that new folder HJT on your desktop
ONLY run hijackthis from this new location
Run a fresh scan and save logfile with Hijackthis and post the new log please

Also, I want to see another log from Hijackthis

Close Hijackthis
supply an uninstall list from Hijackthis
REOpen Hijackthis>>Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button
Save the list to your desktop then copy>>Paste back here the Whole contents

You may want to Print these instructions, or save them too a text file on your desktop
Can you close down all browser windows, including this one

Open your Windows TaskManager
Right click the bottom task bar and select TaskManager
Under the Processes tab
End process on all the following if you can
ptcore.exe
180sa.exe
istsvc.exe
cywadgl.exe
SAcc.exe
optimize.exe
dpmchibv.exe
Ivyxlg.exe
actalert.exe

Access your add/remove programs and remove the following

HyperLinker
Internet Optimizer
ISTsvc
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2
Search Assistant
Surf Accuracy
Viewpoint Media Player
WSEM Update
YourSiteBar

Don't reboot the computer until you have all the above removed
If one won't remove, don't worry about it, let me know later, carry on

AFTER you have all them removed
REBOOT your computer

Back in Windows
Run a fresh scan and save logfile with Hijackthis and post the fresh log please
We'll have some more cleaning to do, but that will be a great start

NOTE: IF, and only If you have problems with Internet connection after removing any of the above
Do the following
Go to start > run and type cmd
A dos Window will appear.
Type the following in the dos window: netsh winsock reset catalog
hit Enter on your keyboard

Reboot your computer

Download and Install
Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06

Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Close out after it is updated, as we will need it later

Download and Install Spybot 1.4 from
HERE

Use the default settings when installing, they will be selected
After installation--Click the UPDATE button on the left
SEARCH FOR UPDATES on the right
Check, and then download all updates
After update is complete
Close it out, we will need it later

Again, I recommend that you Print these instructions or save them too a text file on your desktop

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode. To boot into Safe Mode, please restart your computer. Tap F8 before Windows loads. Select Safe Mode on the screen that appears.
Sign in with your normal user account

In safe mode
Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Close out after it is updated, as we will need it later
Open Ad-Aware SE 1.06
Click START
Click the radio button to Perform a Full system scan then click NEXT
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button

Reboot the computer
Can you reboot back to safe mode please

Back in Safe mode
Open Spybot 1.4
Click the "Search & Destroy" button on the left
"Check for Problems"---When the Scan is complete
FIX all selected promblems in RED

RESTART the computer back to Normal Windows

Back in Windows
Can you post a fresh hijackthis log please

You should have a shortcut on your desktop or go to START>>All programs>>Lavasoft Adaware SE Personal>>AdAware SE Personal

In safe mode are you signing in with your Normal User account
You should be able to

I would also recommend that after you have AdAware and spybot installed and updated
You are in safe mode WITHOUT network connection

That means your not signing into safe mode

Do the following
Remain in Normal Windows

Open Your task manager and end process on the following if still running
optimize.exe
Ivyxlg.exe
actalert.exe

You must download the next program to run it

Download and Install
[color=\"#000099\"]Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06[/color]
Click that blue link above, it's a direct download link
Save the installer to your desktop
Double click on the installer after it is downloaded
Follow the prompts to install

Once installed, ensure that Ad-Aware is
Open >>ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Once updated
Close All browser windows, including this one

In Ad-Aware
Click START>>Then click  NEXT
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button
Make sure you clean All objects under the CRITICAL tab

Reboot the computer

Come back here and let me know when you have that done

I see you already ran Spybot, glad you figured it out

* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:
  • Close down all instances of IE or OE
  • Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
  • Click the "Delete Cookies" button
  • Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
  • When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):
  • Go to Tools > Options.
  • Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
  • Click the Clear button located to the right of each option (History, Cookies, Cache).
  • Click OK to close the Options window

Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing by clicking Clear All.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the information.
[/list]* Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin
  • Go to start > run and type:
cleanmgr and click ok.
  • Let it scan your system for files to remove.
  • Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
  • Press OK to remove them.
One thing I don't see is any Anti-Virus software on your computer
If you don't have your own to install
I definitely recommend installing one of these free versions

ONLY install one, more than one will cause conflicts
AVG 7 by Grisoft
OR
Avast Home Edition by ALWIL
OR
Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic

Again, ONLY install one, they all have a free version

After your new antivirus software is installed
Make sure it is updated and run a full system scan
Let it fix whatever it finds
Reboot the computer afterwards

Come back here and post one last hijackthis log
Let me know how things are running

When was the last time you ran a Disk Defragment on this computer?

Did you run cleanmgr?

You didn't install and run any Antivirus software yet
Can you do that please
Ensure you reboot after you run the scan

Afterwards post a fresh hijackthis log and let me know how things are running

When was the last time you did a disk defragment on your computer?
