When Setup Error in Shell32

hello everyone.
Have a problem, when i try to setup win2k it goes to all the process and the when reboot, and install files, says \" cannot copy shell32\" the in run alittle bit more and shot down the system and start again.
anyone has any idea what is going on.
Buy the way i have a processor Atlon 1.2G and the Hard drive is a westerndigital 10gigs whit 512megs.
i appreciate any help.

how much free space do you have on your drive?
win 2k takes 650+ MB of space

Well i have 10 gigs of free space.
Right know i am runing windows me on a hard drive of40 gigs on the same computer.
The HD of 10 Gigs si formated and its clean

Are u by any chance installing win2k using CD-RW drive, if so, it might be the problem, replace it with regular CD drive.  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />
