Ripping a DVD
« on: April 30, 2002, 05:21:22 PM »
I am trying to rip a DVD and place it on a CD, I download DVD rips (DivX files of movies) all the time but most of the ones I download either suck in quality or its subbed in some weird language. I went through guide after guide on how to rip a DVD but when I would get all the programs I needed ... when I would actually try to rip the DVD I keep getting the same error message on that blue screen ... something like \"Under copyright law of windows computer will now restart.\" Everybody I would ask would say that what I was doing is right, its just that windows won\'t let me rip the damn thing. Is there anyway around this? I would really like to rip my own DVD\'s instead of relaying on people that don\'t have the right files, it just waist\'s my time downloading them. Any help would really be appreciated.
