does anyone know of methods of  testing a motherboard, I think I have one dieing, but It could be software problems aswell. I know that the L2 cashe is dead but I cannot workout if there are any other problems with it

How do you know that the L2 cashe is dead.  If you knew it just replace with new one (board).

A pc can work without L2 Cashe, but with other porblems it cannot.
