i keep gettign a lot of cli.exe errors and a memory refrence error and internet explorer keeps locking up i hope u can help me out its very anoying thx

Can you do the following for me please
Download Hijackthis from my signature below
SAVE it to your desktop

Double click on hijackthis_sfx.exe on desktop
Click the UNZIP button>>OK the prompt
This will self extract to C:\Program Files\HijackThis
Delete hijackthis_sfx.exe from desktop

Go to START>>RUN
Copy>>paste the following to the open field, then hit OK
%systemdrive%\Program Files\HijackThis
This will open the Hijackthis folder
RIGHT CLICK on Hijackthis.exe and select SEND TO>>Desktop (create shortcut)
You can now run Hijackthis.exe from the new shortcut placed on your desktop

supply an uninstall list from Hijackthis
Open Hijackthis>>Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button
Save the list to your desktop then copy>>Paste back here the Whole contents

I suspect the errors are from the ATI control panel
Can you do the following please

Access your add/remove programs and remove the following
Viewpoint Manager (Remove Only)
Viewpoint Media Player

Go to START>>RUN>>Type in msconfig
Open the STARTUP tab
Uncheck "HKLM\..\Run: [ATICCC] "C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\CLIStart.exe"
Apply it and Close
DO NOT restart the computer yet
Instead

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe


After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot the computer

Post a fresh hijackthis log

Do you still get the errors?

I'm not sure why the ATI control panel is causing the error

well i ahvent had a cli error i just formated about a month or so ago and when i installed the new drivers it started happening but i keep gettign a lot of internet explorer has to close errors got any ideas

Where did you download IE7 from?
Did yahoo toolbar get installed with it?
Can you close all your browsers windows and try uninstalling Yahoo toolbar from add/remove programs

Reboot the computer
Does that help?

If not, give exact error message please
