Added HD - Itunes trouble

Hello there
i recently bought a 300gb harddrive, had it put in and divided into 2 halves. I dragged my music folder over to the new hd and dropped it. After all the transforing i deleted it from C drive. I didnt check until now but only album art is in the file i sent so im screwed out of 3500 songs. Is there a way to import my entire ipod collection onto my computer?

Sorry, I've never had an Ipod
Is this for a Windows computer or Mac?

I've seen other users around the Net recommend
