getting bearshare out of my pc?

I uninstalled it and searched for all bearshare files and deleted them.  However I go to my home page and bearshare icon is there which I never gave it permission to do that.  How do I normalize the Google page.?  Thank you

You may want to post a Hijackthis log in the TechClinic forum
Just to make sure that no residuals of Bearshare and it's adware components are still around
Start a new topic in the TechClinic section

At the top of the forum you'll find instructions how to post a Hijackthis log
