IPC$ password???

Hi Everyone

Im trying to install windows 2000 from a distribution folder on another windows 2000 pro box. But to connect to the distro box its asking for a IPC$ password?? Can any of you help me out?. Is there a default password for that?

Have you tried the \"net use\" command?  Very helpful in the domain enviroment.  I use Bart\'s MSClient (www.nu2.nu) boot disk to login to the domain and then map a drive to the distribution folder.  Works great.  His boot disk even asks during login if you would like to map a drive so you only need to use net use for extra drives.  Should work even cleaner in a workgroup I think.

example: net use Y: computernamesharename /user:domainorworkgroupusername password
