Computers Reseting - Windows Live Messenger?
« on: January 08, 2007, 02:12:29 AM »
Hi,

My friend has 2 computers running xp pro with Live messenger installed. Both computers are resetting themselves periodically while messenger, about every 5 mins, only whilst messenger is open. Any thoughts??
Windows: A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

For God's Sake, stop using Micro$oft's stuff - it has security like a piece of swiss cheese!

Do you have the file sharing option enabled?
If so, try disabling it
Take a look at what other users tried
