The error on startup is related to Ewido, we should update it anyways
But we also have to rid you of some nasties

Can you do the following for me please
Go to START>>>RUN>>>type in services.msc
Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- ewido security suite control

Double click on it--- STOP the service--If running
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled
Select APPLY>>OK it

Do the same for the next Service name
ewido security suite guard

Access your add/remove programs and remove Ewido

Reboot the computer
Back in Windows

Download FixwareOut from one of the following sites:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
Save it too desktop, we'll need it later

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{466A4BC8-EFB8-4E9A-9993-615414D9D6EC}: NameServer = 85.255.115.90,85.255.112.225
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.90 85.255.112.225
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.90 85.255.112.225
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.90 85.255.112.225

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

==Download AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5
  • Save the installer to desktop
  • Double click the installer, select your language, and then select "OK"
  • Click NEXT>>>Select I Agree>>>NEXT>>>INSTALL

  • AVG will now install and afterwards click FINISH

  • AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 should now Load
  • Click the Update tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.

  • After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
  • Click on the Scanner tab at the top

  • Click the "Settings" tab and then change the recommended action under "How to Act" to Quarantine and ensure that "Automatically generate report after every scan" IS selected and
"Only if Threats are found" IS NOT selected

  • Click back to the "Scan" tab and then click on Complete System Scan.
This scan can take a while to run, let it run uninterrupted

  • When the scan is complete it will list any infections found on the left hand side.
  • Click the Apply all actions button. AVG Anti-Spyware will display "All actions have been applied" on the right hand side.

  • Click on "Save Report", then "Save Report As". This will create a text file. Make sure you know where to find this file  (like on the Desktop).
I'll need to see this log later
Reboot the computer again

Back in Windows
Double click on FixWareout.exe
Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts. If your firewall gives an alert, (because this tool will download an additional file from the internet), please don't let your firewall block it, but allow it instead.
Then you will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads, it will open a textfile. Save that log, because I need it later.

Note: ONLY if you have connection problems after performing above steps - go to Start -> Control Panel, and choose Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says Obtain DNS servers automatically. Click OK twice, and restart your computer.

Post back all the following please, even if it takes more than one reply to do so

1. Post a fresh hijackthis log
2. Post the whole report from AVG antispyware
3. Post the log from FixWareout

If you still have the entries you manually deleted from Ewido in the recycle bin
Can you go back and restore them

Then manually navigate to this folder
C:\Program Files\ewido anti-malware
Open the Ewido anti-malware folder
Look for an uninstaller, might go by the name of uninst.exe
Try running the uninstaller from there

If it still won't uninstall, or it's too late to recover any files from the recycle bin
can you carry on with the rest of the instructions please

Your probably talking about the file shellexecute.dll in the Ewido folder
It can be removed in safe mode, but try the above steps first

How's everything running?
I'm a little concerned about the Ewido entries in your log
Did you follow EXACTLY what I posted earlier

Quote
Can you do the following for me please
Go to START>>>RUN>>>type in services.msc
Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- ewido security suite control

Double click on it--- STOP the service--If running
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled
Select APPLY>>OK it

Do the same for the next Service name
ewido security suite guard

Did you APPLY and OK both of them

Were you able to restore the files/folders you deleted and run the uninstaller from with Ewido folder?

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

If you disabled those 2 services and restarted the computer
The error message should be gone

But everything may not be removed
Can you try the following
Go into Add/Remove programs and remove AVG-Antispyware
Reboot the computer after you have removed it

Reinstall Ewido 4.0 from this link
http://download.grisoft.cz/softw/70/filedi..._4.0.0.172c.exe

After you install it, try going back to Add/remove programs and remove it
Or go into the Programs files folder>>>Ewido and run uninst.exe from there

Again reboot the computer

Show me a fresh hijackthis log afterwards and let me know how things are running please
