Opinions on Image Software...Whats the best?

I am looking to find the best imageing software for graphics editing. Especially word/text bending and munipulation. Whats your opinion???

Photoshop Is the best image manipulation Software.

Gimp is also good for the basics and its free.

graphicgale is ok for picture and photo editing unsure about text manipulating but its free also ill post the link in a minute
