is there anyway to convert an advanced server cd into a windows 200 profesional cd? thanks for reading this:)

Win2k advanced server is same as Win2k pro.....U just have to select \"Custom Installation\" and remove all the server appz and services......!!!! http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />
(The logo will steal saying \"Win Server familly\" but......is it important to u ??

You will find if you do this you Will find that some apps will complain thay you are installing onto a server, there is no real way of converting advance server into pro, but a small app (baned by MS) called NT switch will able to convert the installation into Pro.

I found it at Iexbeta.com \'s forums, but I believe it has been removed

i ahve another question about it.. i have a server already.. and i have to disable the DNS server on it everytim i want to internet con share. now if i upgrade to windows 2000 server and get a DNS server with internet con sharing will it work if i set my ip as the alternate DNS server? sorry if im confusing
