I just built with MSI KT3 Ultra (Socket A). This the the third system I have built with MSI. Good overclocking. Every motherboard is different,it all depends on what you are going to use as a cpu.

Hi all,
Use Intel motherboards for Intel CPUs and AOpen or Gigabyte for AMD CPUs.

ABIT nforce2 board is your answer. Stable as a rock with good memory (ie. corsair) and fast as hell in 2x configuration.

Do you have P4 or Athlon XP?
Aopen is very low end. Go with Abit, Asus or Epox.
If you have a Athlon XP us the Nforce2 chipset.
Buy top-of-the-line not cheap $75 boards.

If im making a brand new comp for my house or business, i only buy ASUS boards. They always work better than any other boards i use. I only get other boards if I have less of a choice over ebay or something. Go with ASUS its worth the extra money.
