this is a bit different.
when browsing the internet i recently noticed that i cannot open a second web page. so all i can have is 1 url open at a time. when i try to click on ie or a link i hear a \"boing\". i have tried re-installing IE6 but to no avail. is there a setting that only allows 1 url to be open at a time??

try typing this in at the command prompt:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
see if this will fix your URL issue.
