Alright if you don't like taking screenshots of convos and then you end up getting scammed then this is for you.
Messenger Plus! has a great convo saving feature where you can save your conversations in plain text or html files so download it
here and install, after that when you goto the Plus! Preferences click on the conversations tab then click on the Chat Logging button to the left and make your preferences as you wish and save them as html files because text isn't as reliable. and then you can take screenies of that(I'm not sure if they will accept but it's an idea) and use as proof of scam and whatnot. Also make sure to enable history recording for regular MSN by going to options clicking on Messages and then enabling Message history at the bottom this I am sure will count as proof
