windows activation error after ghost image
« on: August 30, 2002, 01:17:55 PM »
Hello, I need help to solve a problem.
I use win2000 and winXP in the same disk. I used to create and load many XP ghost images and everything worked ok. After I loaded an 2000 image to the first particion (where the master boot sector is) the XP\'s boot choice disappeared so I had to run through the Xp\'s boot cd the repair option so the I could boot XP. After loading an XP image and after the authentication an error comes up: Windows Activation: A Problem is Preventing Windows from Accurately Checking the License for this Computer - 0x80090006. And the only thing you can do then is restart or shut down. I copied the WBA.dbl from different versions of ghost images to the system32 folder but nothing happend. Can anyone help me???
