An Elite Antiscammer isn't JUST somebody who isn't going to scam, it is somebody who is seen as a leader to the rest of the forum, so in that respect, yes, they have to be popular. Being an antiscammer just means that they are expected not to scam, like what Jollyman would be. Then the elite part comes into place, meaning above not scamming, being respected in the community, being somebody who attracts people and influences the behavior of the other members for the better.
What I don't like is people voting no because somebody, like Reazee, is having a fight with an elite in question, like JBLee. Don't vote no because Reazee or anybody else tells you to! Vote what you think, not even how much you like the member in question, but by how much other people respect them, if you think they would do a good job, and help give a good name to the elites then vote yes! Even if you can't stand the person![/quote]
