whats a good barrows pure?

ok this is his stats so far   76 attack 74 str 70 def 77 hp 83 mage and [censored]ie range and like 52 pray

im thinkin of getting his mage to 94. would he be a good staker?
and do i have to wory about range? sud i get it up?

Str = 99 Attack = 99 Range = 70 Magic = 94 for vengence or ice barrage.
