XP Boot Screen Edited BSOD...
« on: September 18, 2002, 07:37:54 AM »
I recently installed Win XP SP1 and it replaced my edited boot logo.

I edited the ntoskrnl.exe again but everytime I try to boot after I overwrite the ntoskrnl.exe XP give me a BSOD and i have to restart in Safe Mode to restore my backup file.

Is it possible to use a WinXP ntoskrnl.exe even if it does not have  SP1? \'cause before everything was working fine, may be I could use the other ntoskrnl.exe

...or you can try uninstallling Service Pack 1!
if at first you dont succeed, call it version 1.0
