i just ran my mcafee system scan and the trojan was detected, how do i remove the trojan? can someone please assist me with this problem

Download Hijackthis 2.0.2 from my signature below
SAVE it to your desktop

Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run it
Choose Install

Hijackthis v2.0.2 will open

Under Main Menu, Select
Do a system scan and save a Log file
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and Paste the Whole log back here to the forum...Don't try and fix anything yet----It is all important!

Follow my previous instructions to install and run the updated version of Hijackthis and post it's fresh log

Also,
supply an uninstall list from Hijackthis
After you post the updated hijackthis log, close it, then ReOpen Hijackthis>>Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button
Save the list to your desktop then copy>>Paste back here the Whole contents

i looked at other websites and it told me to disable my system recovery and to run the scan and it should be gone, that part is true buttttttt my windows update logo, the yellow symbol with the "!" in the middle, shows up but nothing happens when i click on it, and it's still 0%

Try this one more time
Download Hijackthis Installer from [color=\"#FF0000\"]HERE[/color]
For an alternate download location, you can try HERE
SAVE it to your desktop
Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run it
Choose Install

Hijackthis v2.0.2 will open

Under Main Menu, Select
Do a system scan and save a Log file
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and Paste the Whole log back here to the forum
