Peter first there are no masters and slaves in scsi drives , you only have host adapters ,and scsi id.
Try this boot.ini :
[boot loader]
timeout=8
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS=\"Microsoft Windows XP Professional\" /fastdetect
d:=Microsoft Windows Millennium
I suppose your win me is on drive D:
and win xp is on drive C
Boot.ini , ntldr , and ntdetect.com must be on your boot drive but those are hiddenfiles , and boot.ini is read only ,so you have to make them unhidden and read write before you change them in the \"tools , folder options \"menue .
rdisk(0) is the c drive rdisk(1) your D drive
