My PC keeps on Frezzing.....

hi it's my first post here and hopefully you guys will be able to solve my problem. I just built a new pc(mailnly for games 64bit AMD). at the beginning it was great. i could run Need for speed carbon and Delta Force Black hawk down without my PC showing any sign of slowing down and it loaded up quickly. after a week(from when i built the PC) the PC stared slowing down like i couldn't run two games at once. but i didn't think that much of it. Then after another 2weeks later, i started hearing a squeaking noise coming from inside my pc. i opened the PC up and the noise was coming from my Hard Drive. i told the company(where i buyed the hard drive from) what was happening and asked for a new hard drive. they gave  me a new hard drive. but PC kept on slowing down. Now i can't even run Need For speed MOST wanted OR carbon without the the pc taking forever to load the games and the sceren frezzing up after every 2hour or so even if i am just watching a movie on the internet. I am running windows XP  sp2 32bit. i don't if that's the reason the sceren frezzing up. PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME.

Let's ensure it's not malware related
Download Hijackthis Installer from [color=\"#FF0000\"]HERE[/color]
For an alternate download location, you can try HERE
SAVE it to your desktop
Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run it
Choose Install

Hijackthis v2.0.2 will open

Under Main Menu, Select
Do a system scan and save a Log file
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and Paste the Whole log back here to the forum

Are you disabling anything from running on startup?
Also, do you have the latest chipset drivers from Via?

Download [color=\"#008000\"]Deckard's System Scanner (dss.exe)[/color] to your desktop.
Close all applications and windows.
Double-click on dss.exe to run it and follow the prompts.
When the scan is complete, two text files will open; main.txt, which will be maximized and extra.txt, which will be minimized.

Post the contents of  main.txt and extra.txt, in may take more than one reply to post all the information

will do in in the next 2hours and yeah i do have the latest video drivers. i will download the thing you said about the video drivers but i don't think that will help. i will do Deckard's System Scanner (dss.exe) as soon as  i can.

What AntiVirus software are you going to stick with
McAfee or Norton's
Having more than one will cause conflicts and system instabilities
Since it appears you may have more than one, you yourself may be doing more harm than good to get your problems cleared

It appears that you just installed McAfee's? I don't know what your doing on your end???

Can you try the following
Go to START>>RUN>>type in msconfig
Hit OK
Under the General tab
Select NORMAL STARTUP
Apply it and CLOSE
DO NOT RESTART the computer yet

OTMoveIt will create a log here
C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles\mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log

Post that log along with a fresh hijackthis log

Along with the above 2 logs
Post the following
Download [color=\"red\"]SmitfraudFix[/color][/url] (by S!Ri)
Extract the contents (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Hi again. sorry for being late. i just reinstalled my XP. it's the same version. but i like to if i have to all them things  now(asking because it's a reinstalled and all the old has been deleted.) also i only run from now Macfee enterprise scan virus. hope that answer your question. please post back wiht your respons and thanks for taking time to look at my problem and hope you can sort it out.. thanks mate.

no. it's still frezzes up. here let me give you example : i watching THIS YESTERDAY  went to show and clicked smallville and watching the episode called Rage from the Season 6 - Tudou season and in the half of the way, the the whole scren just frezzed up. after a lillte while, the computer restared.

that should not happen with the PC i got but it does. so  i don't know what the problem is. that's why i am asking you. hope you are not confused anymore. now can please tell me what do please oh yeah almost forget..nice job doing 10000 post. that quite a thing mate.

yes i did. anyway, i think it was graphic cards fault. i told them to change it now and give my money back. so i have wait a while.
