I am using Win2K and am trying to create a custom color scheme as follows in vain:
Inside the Appearance tab of the Display Properties dialog box of the Control Panel, I create a custom color scheme, save it as BLUE_2, and then apply it. Then I run regedit.exe and export the HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelAppearance key as BLUE2.reg.
Then I take this .REG file to another computer running Win2K and do regedit.exe BLUE2.reg to install the color scheme. regedit says it successfully put the info in Registry. After I reboot the computer, when I open the Display Properties dialog box, BLUE_2 appears as the current color scheme but the some of the attributes that I gave to the scrollbar of the message box does not appear. But when I scroll the schemes and come back to BLUE_2, the attributes are there, which means that the BLUE2.reg file has the information.
Am I missing something here regarding the registry manupilation or is this a Win2K problem?
Thank you for your help.
