Typing in Explorer address bar causes freeze

Typing an address in my internet explorer address bar then hitting the "enter" button causes my explorer to freeze.  I do believe that I have installed all updates.

Can you do 2 things for me please

First start IE without any addons
Close Internet Explorer
Go to START>>All Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>Internet Explore(No Addons)

Do you have trouble with typing in the address bar?

Also, can you show me the following
Open Hijackthis>>Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button

# Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
# Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
This includes:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03

I also suggest that you remove from add/remove

OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer

Back in Windows, go ahead and install the latest version of Java from the installer on the desktop

Time for you to do some troubleshooting

In IE, use the manage addon's
It could be a Browser helper conflicting
Eg... Such as McAfee's scriptproxy

By elimanation try disabling one of them and see if the problem resides

Yahoo! IE Services Button and Yahoo! Services are now disabled and now my IE works.  Is there a way to delete these or should I just leave them disabled.  Thanks!

If your happy with the way things are running, leave them disabled

I assume that both Yahoo! IE Services Button and Yahoo! Services are related too Yahoo! Browser Services in your Add/remove programs
Optionally, you can uninstall it if not needed, I don't use it so I don't have much info on it
