Problems running game

I've finished Sim City and I clicked play a error pops up saying:

"Please insert the Sim City play disk. There is only two disk one and two. I've done every option, inserted them both, inserted only number 2 in CD-ROM and DVD writter and same for disk one...?

you inserted disk 1, waited for it to finish, then took it out, and inserted disk 2?

Yes it said please insert disk two.

but i think I didn\'t take out disk 1 would that might of effected the problem?

yes, you might need to use the same drive for both disks, try deleting all relevant files and starting over using both disks in the same drive

I installed a two disk game in the CD-ROM, after it finished installing, I clicked and play and error poped up saying:



I inserted the first disk into the CD-ROM, did the same for disk 2, it didn't work.

Can you try the following

Remove both disks from the computer
Reboot the computer

Afterwards, ONLY put Disk 2 into the CD bay
See if that helps

I restarted the computer.
I inserted Disk 2 into CD-ROM

And it still shows the same error message.

I installed the game in the CD-ROM, not the DVD Writer

It should be labelled Disk 2, do you have the original CD's or is this a copy of them?

Merged both topics you had started on this problem

1) I inserted disk one in CD-ROM
2) At 50% it said insert disk 2
3) I took out disk one from CD-ROM and inserted disk 2
4) When it finished installing, I clicked play error poped up.
5) I restarted computer inserted disk two in CD-ROM
6) And the message error poped up again.

This is not the purchased CD if thats what your asking.

That's what I was asking, probably the reason why your having problems getting the game to run
Your running NON original copies of the game
This forum isn't for info on getting illegal software running
