Anyone can make any site as it ain't hard at all. Blogspot is one of the easiest place to start.
By having a site on blogspot doesn't mean its not trustable. It's the person who created it who you should consider. There are some EXTREMELY popular blogs (for seo purposes, PR6-8+) on blogspot who still have sites there. Why didn't they move on to an actual .com site when they can?
Lastly, the site just explains things and points you to places. It doesn't have any methods to scam anyone. roflmao
