win2k randomly restarts
« on: October 29, 2002, 11:43:35 PM »
Randomly my computer restarts.  I get a glimpse of a Blue screen, and then thats it.  It\'s a fresh clean install, not running dual boots or OS\'s, nothing is running that would interfere with win2k.  Just norton 2002 systemworks.  any ideas?

right click on my computer then go to properties > advanced > startup and recovery > uncheck the automatically reboot and set it to a kernal or complete memory dump.

this will allow you to see what message is on the blue screen, and from there you can do more searching on the problem at hand.

if you would also like this creates a dump file, i can analyze this for you if you would like.
