You all are probebly thinking what may happen to TTG and RC once the new update in 2 days. There will be no more gold selling or even account selling because people cant buy for gold..Only selling there will be is for real cash and that won't be alot at all...Sythe forums got rid of all of their official middle men and is stopping...What are we going to do to the Runescape part of the forum?

My thoughts: I guess we can leave it open for cash trades...But it won't be that much at all because:
FIRST - 99.99999999999% of all account selling is a scam
SECOND - There will not be that much buying and selling AT ALL
THIRD - Only trades that can only happen is account for cash...or for another account which will 99.99% be a scam either way.
PS: I say we all go to poker...lol

May I get your thoughts?

I have pretty much already quit RuneCore. I have been to TTG more than it lately...

It just makes me want to puke whenever I go there...all of the wasted time spent on it just so that Jagex could squash it in 5 minutes...

Everyone worth mentioning is just going to start being active on VirtualDump. The only reason I was active on RuneCore was for discussion and writing mods for IPB. I can continue everything on VirtualDump which will be more focused on those things then RuneCore was anyway.

I like TTG because it gives me something to do. RuneCore is set up almost too well, never any need for a mod or admin other than to ban someone on there. Here, I can do about 5 things every time I visit even though RuneCore gets more average posts daily.

As for what to do here at TTG:

I say switch everything into game discussion forums. Get rid of all blackmarket sections, there really isn't a need anymore, it will just be a waste of space and controversy. Keep the RuneScape and WoW sections but make it just for discussion. Possibly create an archive section of the forum and move all of the topics into that (so that if anyone ever searches "Buying a RuneScape account" they will still get TTG).

Then perhaps change the Elite Anti-Scammers group into a "Knowledgeable Members" (work on the name, I know it sucks). I don't think it would be completely fair to get rid of the group all together, but there is no need to keep it either.

I think before we make any drastic changes, we should let it all play out and see what actually happens.

I'll give it a week before the average number of new posts a day on both TTG and RuneCore combined is less than Pureblood's IQ (extremely small)...

Anyway, I figured with these new updates I would look around the coding for any new exploits around, I may be able to find something, but ever since that exploit in RSC, I don't think so...

I say we just leave it alone, this site will be what it will be and its up to the admins and not us. You could notify them maybe, but the blackmarket is still possible on both RS and WoW so idk why you would get rid of the sections.

As for that Jewiday its spelled many different ways but the one w/ a C is the most correct... lol


And VirtualDump can suck it! every time i posted it would get deleted or edited because on one of my posts i said i thought the skin sucked.



Im thinking of making dailydownloads into more than just what it is, like totally revamp the site... but i need ideas, so if anyones interested in helping me there will probably staff positions involved....

Yeh, I knew for a fact that you spelled it with a C...that happened to be the basis of my arguments...

You are using a nulled board to distribute illegal downloads...

AND:

You are so hard on other people who use nulled boards, however you yourself used a nulled board even AFTER your purchase of a paid board.. The only reason you switched was because you got caught with the nulled board up.. I seem to remember you using a nulled board even when the RuneCore community was getting big.. I'm not quite sure how many members it had but I remember it didn't have a few...

I used a nulled board originally on RuneCore for just over a month. Honestly I didn't even know what a nulled board was since I had been brought into the IPB world knowing nothing except Nulled boards (seeing as just about every site anyone on TTG has ever made has been nulled) and TTG itself which looks completely the same. I then purchased a license as soon as I had the money and contacted IPS about exactly what was the minimum we had to do. I had installed countless modifications and really didn't real like a fresh install. They instructed me that all we had to do was add the IPS license key to the Tools and Settings of the ACP of the nulled board and they would look past it. Had they said I would have HAD to do a fresh install, I would have.

I only got rid of the physical nulled board when 2.3 came out and I wanted to upgrade. According to IPS themselves, it isn't the board that matters, it is whether or not you own a license key.

Not only are you on a nulled board, but you use the nulled board to distribute illegal content...

Yea but see, you bought yours with donation money (which you stated in some post too far back for me to look for it on runecore) which if you've noticed dailydownloads doesn't get. It also doesn't get $100 a month from ads...

And anyways I don't know how much more I'm actually going to do with it.
