The problem that I have had with Ghost, Power Quest and Image Cast is that they have a problem with SCSI devices sometimes. Enterprise or Pro versions usally resolve that but you may not have access to these versions.
Have you looked at using the $OEM$ folder to copy over the drivers? I find that as long as the device is not detected by Windows this is a 100% sure thing. If you are using updated drivers that are already in Windows this does not always work during the install (99% Does Not). You will have to select look for updated drivers afterwards.
Just another idea... If you can get Ghost to work that would be your easy answer. I would say try that first.
