I recently purchased an OEM version of Win2000 from a local hardware vendor. I began having problems with the OS and looked to MS for help. Come to find out, they do not offer support on OEM products. Well anyway, this was fine by me so i did a little research on the web and I came up with this.
DriverVer=11/14/1999,5.00.2183.1
Build 2183, I found while looking for info, was RC3 of Win2000, and this is the driver date on my OEM product. Does this mean my OEM is not the final ver. ? My SysProperties box still shows 5.00.2195 SP2?
I\'m confused, so hopefully someone can help me with this.
What exactly is the \'driver\' version on the Windows2000 , 5.00.2195 cd?
