« on: February 05, 2008, 02:49:34 AM »
Hi to all,

I'm estan, network administrator in our office but it seems i can't trouble shoot our network.  Can you help me to set up my network cause every time i set up my network this message box appear:
"Cannot Complete the Network Setup Wizard

An error occurred during configuration of the network on this computer

You can configure your network manually, or you can run the wizard again with different settings."

Can you help me to set up my network? PLEASE? Why i can't set up a network? What could be the problem? Please help me to trouble shoot it.

Many thanks and God bless!

Estan

I moved this topic to the Hardware forum,
You give no indication of Operating systems your using
So I will assume it's a Hardware problem

Mind you, you don't give no indication of what Hardware your using
As eg.. Router make/model

Please note, as general check
Ensure that ALL firewalls are disabled when trying to setup your network, this is especially important in software firewalls such as Nortons IS

Ensure your computers on the network are on the EXACT workgroup>>Don't guess, double check
Share a folder, this should be done by default when using the Network Wizard, but set one up manually if unsure
Don't share the whole volume unless necessary
