Can you open Task Manager>>Right click bottom task bar and select Task Manager

What is using the CPU Cycles??
Take a close look and let me know the file name please

In addition, are you using 2 antivirus software on your computer
Trend Micro and AVG?

In addtion, you posted a hijackthis log from an old version of Hijackthis
Uninstall your version from add/remove programs

Download and run the newest version from my signature below and post a new log please

Can you navigate to the following folder
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215

Open it and look for the following
ngen executeQueuedItems

run it and let it finish, is that any help?

What do you mean by this

There are Trend Micro and AVG installed in my com but I only use AVG.
Do you use both Trend Micro Antivirus and AVG antivirus
And are they both running on startup?

Hi,

When I do this step:

Can you navigate to the following folder
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215

Open it and look for the following
ngen executeQueuedItems

It doesn't seems to be any help.

Ya I used both AVG and Trend Micro, and only AVG is running on startup.

Go to START>>RUN>>type in

cmd

Hit OK
At the command prompt
Copy>>paste the next following command

cd C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215

Hit ENTER on keyboard

Now the prompt should change to
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215>

At that prompt copy>>Paste the following

ngen executeQueuedItems

Hit Enter

Let it do it's thing, if you get any error message at all post it back here

Download Deckard's System Scanner (dss.exe) to your desktop.
Close all applications and windows.
Double-click on dss.exe to run it and follow the prompts.
When the scan is complete, two text files will open; main.txt, which will be maximized and extra.txt, which will be minimized.

Post back just the Whole contents of Main.txt and Extra.txt

Let's remove some unneeded programs from your computer
And take a look at a few other files

Trend Micro is outdated, as I mentioned earlier, having more than on AV installed can cause conflicts

Can you try the following
Go to START>>RUN>>type in
services.msc

Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- Trend Micro Personal Firewall

Double click on it--- STOP the service--If running
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled
Apply and OK it

Do the same for the next ones
Trend NT Realtime Service
Trend Micro Proxy Service

Can you also find the next one and disable it too
Exact name given please
`AppMgmt

In addition, let's disable Net Framework optimization service for now, as it's using high CPU
.NET Runtime Optimization Service v2.0.50215_X86
Look for that entry, should be at the top of the list
Set to disabled, remember to apply and Ok it

I see this in your log
O23 - Service: iPod 服務 (iPod Service) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe (file missing)
I don't see it installed anymore, was it at one time?
For now, it the Services configuration
Can you also set this servicename to disabled
iPod

Now REBOOT the computer

Back in Windows
Access your Add/remove programs via Control panel
Uninstall/Remove the following

Don't reboot till all is removed
Let's remove all Java versions since there outdated, we'll update it in a bit
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 9
Javaâ„¢ 6 Update 2
Javaâ„¢ 6 Update 3
Javaâ„¢ SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

Did you knowingly install this version of Java Development?
Javaâ„¢ SE Development Kit 6 Update 1
If not remove it too

Stay in Add or Remove Programs and Remove
Trend Micro Internet Security

Reboot the computer afterwards
Back in Windows

Can you scan a couple files for  me
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
Copy and paste the next bold line  to the Upload a File

C:\WINDOWS\system32\BD154B78BF.dll

Then use the SEND FILE button
Let it finish scanning
Could you post back the results this scan back here please

Can you do the same for the next file name
It may not be found, but try anyways
This path
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSINFO\notepad.exe

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Can you do the following please
It looks as if your still sharing infected Flash drives

If you have either Flash_Disinfector or combofix
Delete your versions

Download the Flash_Disinfector.exe from here and save to desktop
http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/s...Disinfector.exe

Download this file - Combofix.exe and save it ONLY to your desktop

1. Disconnect from the internet. Unplug the cable from the wall.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

Run Flash_Disinfector.exe, Follow the prompts
Insert any removable flash drives you may have when prompted

Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.

When finished, it will produce a report for you. Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new HijackThis log

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Follow the instructions posted http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php/topic/22942-please-read-how-to-post-logs-from-frst/\'>Click Here

I would still like to remove one service name

Can you open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section
Open "Delete an NT service"
In the open field, copy>>paste the Whole entry below in BLUE include the small grave accent in front of Automatic
The symbol that looks like the following>>>>[ ` ]

`Automatic _Updates

Close this browser window then click OK in Hijackthis
Hijackthis should prompt that the service will be deleted
Ok this and reboot the computer afterwards

Back in Windows

can you run dss.exe on desktop again, when it's done post the new log of main.txt

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Follow the instructions posted http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php/topic/22942-please-read-how-to-post-logs-from-frst/\'>Click Here

CPU USAGE 50+%!!
« Reply #17 on: March 16, 2008, 09:13:57 AM »
Is the CPU usage normal now?
If it is, would you like to retry Framework and see if it will finish this time

Go to START>>RUN>>type in
services.msc

Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- .NET Runtime Optimization Service v2.0.50215_X86

Double click on it
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to MANUAL
Apply and OK it

Reboot the computer
See if mscorsvw.exe will finish it's scan, give it about 5 minutes

If it won't try the command again
Go to START>>RUN>>type in

cmd

Hit OK
At the command prompt
Copy>>paste the next following command

cd C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215

Hit ENTER on keyboard

Now the prompt should change to
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215>

At that prompt copy>>Paste the following

ngen executeQueuedItems

Hit Enter

Let me know how it goes please

"Go to START>>RUN>>type in
services.msc

Hit OK

name---- .NET Runtime Optimization Service v2.0.50215_X86

Double click on it
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to MANUAL

and I reboot my com, everything seems normal. The CPU usage is normal too. Nothing unusual.

Looks good
Don't forget to keep your AntiVirus and spyware software updated

In addition, we removed your Firewall software from TrendMicro, although it appeared it was disabled
You may want to replace your firewall software

Here's some free ones, ONLY use one
You may want to check out either Comodo or Online Armor free versions
http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15894

Go to START>>RUN>>Copy then paste the next command below in bold
Then hit OK

ComboFix /u

This will uninstall combofix and it's components

download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it.
  • Click the Cleanup! button
A list will be downloaded>>Allow it Internet access if prompted by your Firewall
Don't change anything in this list
  • Select Yes at the prompt
Wait for the confirmation box to open to reboot the computer
Don't mouseclick during the wait as you may cause the tool to stall
  • Select Yes to reboot Now
NOTE: This procedure will also delete OTMoveit.exe from desktop

I'll lock this topic if you have no further problems
