Well, It\'s alright. No preformance problems, but I hate it how if you load up a picture that is bigger than your window, it resizes it down for you

You can disable that.  Goto the Tools menu, Internet Options, and Advanced.  There\'s a checkbox for it.

Do you get this registry key entered after installing IE 6 on a Win2k system? and if so, how do you de-activate it, simply delete the key??

I just installed it on Windows 2000pro with SP2 and it works great.  It took be a bit to set the privacy settings so all my logons would work, but thats the only so-called glitch...

I just installed it on win2k pro sp2 and all is well, very well infact, I like it alot, it has much better cookie management then previous versions
I\'ve have no troubles with it, durring install or after

and it even fixed a long standing annoyance in windows. if you\'re clicking through the startmenu and you right click something and delete it sometimes it would create the little arrows at the bottom (as if there was more to the list that it wasn\'t showing) if you clicked the arrows they would just disappear, but it always really annoyed me, but that seems to be fixed now, yay!

oh yeah, on another note, you said it\'s not to be installed on winXP? why not? the installation file says \"Internet Explorer 6 installation for Windows 2000/ XP\"

I\'d be more then happy to try and install it on my copy of winXP (assuming I can get it running, hehe) unless you have a good reason why I shouldn\'t

I don\'t think it\'ll even try to install on WinXP, just says it\'s not compatible with that OS when you run setup.  Besides, if you notice a new IE build comes out a couple days before the corresponding WinXP build.  But, I wouldn\'t get WinXP 2469, as it doesn\'t have d3d support.  Not a problem, I mean it is a beta anyways.  But I do miss my Black & White

I ahve earlier version of IE 2465. What are the upgrade instructions for Window 98 SE? Do I install over 2465 or uninstall back to 5.5? Anything else to be aware of? Thanks. Also what is the difference between 2465 and 2469?

Downloaded IE 6.0 Public Preview version over 10 times now.  WinMe twice, Win2k Server, W2k Pro, Win98 SE.  It has never failed so far, and it\'s alot of different machines, so new, some old.  All worked fine, and none of the problems I read so far.  Maybe MS has fixed all the bugs by now.  Also a note, I absolutely adore the privacy settings.
