getting errors

Google won't load. I get a lock looking thing at the end of the space bar. When I clicked it, it said verisign primary 3. Then when I try and close out a ms error popped up but with no info on it.

Its some sort of script error for google. I've also tried to look into my device manager and it won't let me in. The error reads MMC can not open file c/windows/system32/devmgmt.msc

Can you do the following
Download and save to desktop
Dial-a-fix-v0.60.0.24.zip
by djlizard
Extract the contents to it's own folder on desktop

Download [color=\"#FF0000\"]ATF-Cleaner[/color] by Atribune.
Save it to your desktop

Can you copy and paste these next set of instructions to a text file on desktop

Close down all Browser windows, including this one

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
      Under Main choose: Select All
      Click the Empty Selected button.

If you use Firefox browser
      Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
      Click the Empty Selected button.
      NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

If you use Opera browser

      Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
      Click the Empty Selected button.
      NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Take note: Reboot may be slower after running ATF-Cleaner
We are also clearing the Prefetch folder, boot time should speed up as this folder is repopulated


Go to START>>RUN>>type in
cmd
Hit OK
type the following in the command prompt window that opens

ipconfig /flushdns
Hit Enter on keyboard

Afterwards, type
exit
Hit Enter

Go to START>>Control Panel>In Classic View click on
Internet Options
Open the CONTENT tab
Under "Certificates" press the
Clear SSL slate
OK the prompt and OK out of there

Open the extracted Dial-a-fix folder and double click on Dial-a-fix.exe
In the main Window click on
Fix Windows Updates
NOTE: other selections will get selected by default, leave them checked please

Then click on GO
Let this complete, when done click on Exit

Reboot the computer

Well, it did. I'm able to sign on to gmail and everything seems fine. Device manager opens as well.

While running the dial-a-fix an error -2147467259 while trying to unregister C:/WINDOWS/system32/msxml 3.dll popped up. I clicked ok and the program completed its run.

Why did that happen like that?

Looks good, it may of happened because msxml3.dll was corrupt
Running dial-a-fix unregisters and rereregisters that file, among  others
or it was missing from system32 folder and Windows detected this and replaced it from the dllcache folder

It was also probably the reason why Device manager wouldn't open
