New Harddrive
« on: April 19, 2008, 06:15:42 PM »
I am purchasing a barebones kit (no OS) and was wondering how to transfer all my information, including windows XP, to the new harddrive. As a side note, my current computer came pre-installed with XP, so just using my non-exsitant disk is out of the question. thanks for any help!

Preinstalled Xp, probably OEM
I think your out of luck, purchase a new copy for your new machine

As far as tranfering files/folders you may want
In the new computer, after you have installed XP
Slave the old hard Drive to the new one and transfer
