msconfig woes
« on: November 16, 2002, 11:26:22 AM »
Hello to all. I am having serious problems and hope someone can help. I am running 2kpro, and I DL-ed the msconfig. I tried some different settings and screwed my whole PC up. ARG!! Some of my games crash to desktop at entry, I have NO sound, my network is gone, my norton is disabled, files missing like DevCom32.DLL, among other things. Is there a way to erase whatever changes msconfig made and go back to the settings I had before I got stupid and played with something I never should have touched? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ms Config is no part of w2k pro but the XP version (works in w2k)can be downloaded on this site  downloads .
Try save mode last known good configuration
