really awesome virus

K, I give up. I tried a ton of stuff, but to no avail. So i got this wicked fun virus that makes explorer.exe end and restart about ever10-15second, until it eventually gives up. It also disabled the task manager which was fun, during one of my ten second windows I hit run and changed the registry settings to enable it again. I have to run things by opening the taks manager and pressing new task.. it's fun and all, but I don't want to do it forever. I ran my antivirus (symatec), deleted some obvious things with HJT, ran smitfraudfix, scanned with trend micro's housecall, and probably a few other things, however, i still have the same problem. so here is a fresh HJT log, hopefully someone can help me out from here.

Can you do the following please

Download this file - Combofix.exe and save it ONLY to your desktop

Don't run it yet
Physically disconnect the internet cable connection to your computer
Temporarily disable your AntiVirus software and any Spyware realtime protections you may have running so it won't interfere with this fix

Double click on ComboFix.exe to run the program

Allow to run when prompted, normally this fix takes anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes
IF prompted that ComboFix needs to reboot the computer
Allow it too, even if it appears that it stalls
Back in Windows, ComboFix will run again, then continue to create a log, this can take a few minutes
Let it run uninterrupted please
I'll need to see this log later
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

After ComboFix runs, and after it log opens
Connect Internet cable, if you have no Internet connection
Simply reboot your computer
By default, the location of the combofix log is located at this location
C:\combofix.txt

Post back the log from ComboFix along with a fresh hijackthis log

Combofix ran, then restarted my system. i got the blue screen of death, it restarted again, and now it's working fine, the problem with explorer.exe restarting is gone. Strangely, this is all that was in the log created by combofix:

I disabled my antivirus before i ran combofix last time.

disable it for a HJT log?

I'm also assuming that you would like me switch selective start-up back to normal start-up?
I'll restart my computer and make those changes and post a fresh HJT log.

And, no, the thing I posted was everything that was in the Combofix log. I don't know why because I have seen full one's before, I think it may have something to do with me getting the BSOD the fisrt time i rebooted. Regardless, it seems to have done the trick. I also did a search for all files containing combofix and only found the one i posted.

Here's a new HJT log, normal startup, antivirus disabled.. I actually just learned that my antivirus can't be enabled for some reason? everytime i switch it to auto-protect on, it switched back off after a couple of seconds. Which could be the origin of my problems.

Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot the computer

Back in Windows
download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here
Save the installer to desktop

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
     
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
     
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
      * When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
     
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
• Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediately.

Can you also do the following in a seperate reply
Download [color=\"#008000\"]Deckard's System Scanner (dss.exe)[/color] to your desktop.
Close all applications and windows.
Double-click on dss.exe to run it and follow the prompts.
When the scan is complete, two text files will open; main.txt, which will be maximized and extra.txt, which will be minimized.
