office xp product key stored locally???

i have a problem. i have multiple machines on a network running multiple legal copies of office xp. unfortunately the guy before me was unorganized and i do not know which machines are running which copies of office xp (read: which product key they are using) is there anyway to look locally on a machine to find out which product key was used to install office? thanks in advance

I dont know ...but id say look in the registry.

anyhow why do you need these key\'s right now? couldnt you just write them down if you ever install them again on all machine\'s? Sounds like you should have a volume license of some sort so you should be able to reinstall as many times as you want...but then again i have heard bad stories about license\'s not being honored correctly.

i went over there and looked around for that file in all the different sections at majorgeeks.com. I didnt see it...or completely missed it.
