I see how this board has slowed down alittle bit. Might because of the holiday\'s. So..

Happy post thank\'s giving.

Happy pre Christmas/Honika

And most likely no one will post between christmas/honika and new year\'s. So...

Happy pre New Year\'s.

Just a after thought...but what are you hoping Santa will bring??

Im hoping..although it is totally off IT...that i can get some part\'s for my 10speed. I really am looking forward to hitting the street\'s for relief from IT and what not.

I Don\'t really need anything ,  I am happy with what I have , but a new p4 2.4 will be very welcome or a tft monitor 17\" dvi ,but then I will have to give santa a helping hand  . I know my wishes  about happiness everywhere , no more wars and killings and greed , are utopian wishes , and a better world is far off but if we cannot hope anymore , there\'s nothing left . If a 10Speed is a mountain bike , I still have 2 racing bikes at home , because that has been one of my hobbies , when I was younger .Enjoy your holidays .

The 10 speed is more commonly reffered to as a \"Street Bike\". Has 10 gears. Although the newer ones have more than 10 gears. I used a 79 huffy right now. I got it amazingly down to 14lbs :-P.  (14lbs isnt that much for a complete bike...atleast not a 79 huffy)

I hope your p4 comes, aswell as your 17\" digital.

My racing bikes only got  12 gears but for the time I  got it , 54 x 12 was real  big  and we made  104 kilometers in 3 hours ,amateurs as we were, but you had to do 200km a week to be able to follow the best  and one of the best is nowadays in a wheelchair due to a biking accident .
I stopped biking in 1990 , but although I\'m 65 I still keep in shape .
Thks , my 2.4 is here yet ,but I only got the case ,motherboard (abit sr7 8x) and the memory 512 ddr 330 , the rest I installed from the other computer .
I had to reactivate by phone ,because it was the third time allready , but they gave me no problems  . They didn\'t even ask why .
Do you believe  windows xp pro setup with all the changes as if there were none , I only had to reinstall some hardware

Yeh the part about not having to change anything after setup...you probably installed to the same dir right?? I read in the book \"Windows 2000 Secret\'s\" a couple years ago that if you installed to the same directory...you didnt have to reinstall everything. That book btw had alot of interesting stuff in it.  You might of read it...it\'s like White and blue with a silver strip on the binding. Great book with alot of \"Pointless\" and usefull stuff.

Yes I have heard about the book , but never seen it .This is with every book with tips and information ,there is allways a lot of stupid things  before you find something interesting
About the computer ,  I probably expressed myself wrongly ,I just took the harddisk with win xp installed  ,and put it , with every other hd and cdrom stuff , video card audio card , wintv , usb2 card to the other tower  with motherboard  and processor installed , and started  the computer . Even win 2k started up and installed everything again .Nevertheless ,the guy at the shop had said I would have to reinstall from scratch . I had a lot of trouble because the screws of the cards didn\'t fit the holes , there was a difference of allmost  2 mm .
Now they fit again , allmost perfect .
I also found two  settings to change in the bios, on the site of Abit (latest bios update ) to avoid a 3d screesaver and some 3d progs to hang after a few seconds , and  yes I was happy to follow my intiution , and went looking at the Abit bios site , because I remembered seeing something there .Post Write combine enable , and  No mask for Nbase enable .Don\'t ask me what they mean exactly , but they did it .
I\'m talking about an ati radeon card , not an abit siluro , so it was not evident .
Now I hope everything is back to normal .
