I can't stand the fact that people say Sarah Palin isn't qualified. What about Obama? What experience does he have? Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska. She has executive experience. Barrack Obama has little to none executive experience. The only reason people have forgetten about question Barrack Obamas experience is because he has been all over the news in the past months and the liberal elite media has basically given him a free ride. (No I seldem watch Fox News) Ok well maybe he was a "community organizer." Sarah Palin's approval rating is in the 80%. And what the heck does it matter? Sarah Palin is at the bottom of the ticket. Since when did this matter? Let me guess you will say "but McCain is old" You know what? SO WHAT? His freaking mother is still alive. She is like 96, I think, so i think there is only a slight chance of him dying while in office. Who cares if he is old.
Yes I can give you many reasons of why John McCain is better than Barrack Obama.
First of all I am a conservative and would defintily never vote for some that left.
Second of all John McCain wants to use Americas resources and use our coal and oil instead of getting it from over seas.
Third. Barrack Obama wants "A National Healthcare System" AKA socialised medicine. I do not want that, and also it would end up hurting us in the end.
Also about those links. That was just a joke... I know it isnt true.[/quote]
It matters about Palin because she would become the vice president... she couldn't even answer what the vice presidents job is correctly. Second of all she was as corrupt of a governor as you could get, she stole money, she gave her friends jobs and she even fired that guy for going after her brother or something.
A national health care system run by the government is a good thing because if it is privatized then hospitals will become businesses who are in it for profit rather than helping people.
I can't comment on what McCain wants to do because he is constantly flip flopping to whatever people want to hear, even in the same speech at one point, or just says "Obama is wrong, I will fix everything" and doesn't give a plan.
Research the great depression and use logic, raising taxes for people making more money makes sense and the fact that those with a lot of money are so resistant and hostile towards the idea is proof that the trickle down theory wouldn't work because these people don't want to let go of their money.
McCain might be a good leader for a country at war, however I am sure he would be just as corrupt as Bush is, but right now we need someone who can fix our problems in this country. Right now our biggest problem is the economy and Obama is the right person for that. Also try looking up what Obama actually did to see what experience he had, to compare his experience with Palin is ridiculous and the only reason she has high approval ratings is because Alaska has a bunch of loggers and oil workers up there that associate with Palin because of the way she acts, not because she has done a remotely good job.
McCain only chose Palin to win over hardcore republicans and he had hoped it would get the women votes that would have gone to Hillary, not because she is a good choice. He is trying anything he can to weasel his way into getting voters because he realizes this is his last chance to be president.
