Toshiba A135-S2276

I am looking for parts for this laptop.I need the bottom part of the cas which is black because the fan grill thing broke on mine and I want a new one.Also there is something wrong with the dc jack inside of the laptop.When I pluig the ac adapter in and wiggle it around it sometimes works but is very sensitive.I read that If you wiggle and it works sometimes all you have to do is resolder something,is that true?Also does someone have a image of the recovery disc for an a130/a135 toshiba laptop series because mine broke.Thanks,and if you know where to get the case at, email me at [email protected].

You may have to phone National parts from the followng link and see if you can order your part

But take a look and see if anything is there that your after

It's possible that your jack may need replaced also
Or cold solder problems, in which case you will have to identify the problem yourself
Open the laptop and inspect the soldering points
If they look good, may need to replace the jack

You also have the option of looking on something like Ebay for a used laptop of your model
You may find one that someone is selling for parts

Did you create Recovery Disks for your computer already?
If so, you may have to phone Toshiba and order a new set

Im talking about recovery disk that has drivers and os on it.But they cost like 50 bucks.

Did you make the Original Recovery disks?
If you did, and lost them, you may have to talk to Toshiba about getting other copies
Is that what you don't understand?

I know I may have to talk to TOshiba,but I just wnat to be able to get it to work.I am pretty sure its the ac adapter because I took the whole thing apart and the jack just slides into a slot on the back then the wires that go into it are soldered onto the board.So I am pretty sure its the ac adapter.
