Lost Recycle Bin icon

[font="Times New Roman"]Hi .....Dunno what I did this time.......But......I lost my Recycle Bin icon......It's showing in the place if you wanna find target........just not there.......what do i do ??    wiifm

Not sure what you mean by that?

What operating system are you running?
Is the recycle bin on your desktop?

Hi Questolo....I am running Windows XP Home Edition.......Yes I do have the Recycle Bin on my Desktop......But......If I try to Find Target to change the icon, I can't do this from the Desktop Recycle Bin icon......The option isn't there, if i right click on the Recycle Bin on my Desktop & then click the Properties tab.......Find Target........Change icon.....Options aren't there.........When the options were there, the Windows Recycle Bin wasn't there, where you change the icon.........I lost the Recycle Bin icon, when I changed the icon to a toilet icon, that  I have in System Files........I changed the icon to the toilet, toilet a and toilet b......but couldn't get the toilet to show empty or full when it was supposed to be either of the two........It just stayed as full.......Like it had to be emptied, but nothing was in it.........So I tried to change back to the original Recycle Bin icon, and it wasn't there to choose .........I sure hope I explained this right.........wiifm

The options aren't there on my computer either
You can change the icon, but you should go through Display Properties>>Desktop>>Customize Desktop options

Are you using a program to enhance XP features?

Questolo I could kiss you.....My Recycle Bin was listed  where you said (in Display).......As far as the toilet icon I was using for the Recycle Bin goes, a friend sent me them in an email......I've used the toilet for years, but had to reformat my computer and lost the toilet.......I also use a roll of toilet paper icon for My Computer.......lol... or an outhouse for My Computer......lol.........these are just icons......not a program.......Yeah......I named My Computer the Sh-t House.....lol........Thank you so much Questolo, for pointing me in the right direction
