Trojan.Vundo help

Hey Guestolo, my brother has  Trojan.Vundo (Virtumonde according to spybot) and it can't be deleted or found. He also gets lots of popups, and his Symantec doesn't work. Here is his Hijack this log.

I'm not sure what you mean by that?

Spyware Doctor is not an Anti-Virus

yes, but when you log in it freezes and it stays like that.


edit: it is kind of working now he is going to back everything up first and then he will probably system restore  to a point where it doesn't freeze and then run smitfraudfix or something...

Well, when you have a chance, post a fresh Hijackthis log and we'll take it from there
But I'll wait till you have stopped running other scanners, etc...

he decided to reformat his harddrive and then reinstalled xp. thank you for the help though.
