- "Hey yunz guyz!" is a greeting. ( I know you guys know I say youns, only I spell it differently.)
- You get time off of work/school for the entire three-day doe season.(This is a little outdated, Does season has been added with buck season now and is called deer season. We are always off the first Monday after Thanksgiving, that is the first day of deer season.)

- One of the highlights of your life was a field trip to Penn's Cave and Horseshoe curve. (never been there on a feild trip but went there with my family. Penns cave is a water cavern near state college (penn state) and Horseshoe curve is train tracks. The nazis actually were planning on bombing it. (near altoona)
- You know exactly what to do when your mother tells you to "red up" your room. (My mom and gram always say that you need to red your room up. Same thing as clean.)

- You know the time and location of every "wing night" in a 20 mile radius.(Not a big wing fan, so not true, through i do know when wing night is in a town just up the road. Every wednesday.)

- You don't understand all the hype about Rolling Rock beer; you've been drinking it for years even though Iron City is better.(This one I didn't get, never heard of it.)

- You consider an exotic vacation to be a trip to Ocean City, Virginia Beach, or Myrtle Beach.( Bascially true, never been more south than ocean city other than a trip to Florida.)

- You are over 35 yrs. old, have never been outside of Pennsylvania and don't see any need to leave.(I don't want to leave.)

- You own only three spices: "salt, pepper and Heinz ketchup." (or possibly A-1 and Heinz 57 sauces)(basically true, though i don't use ketchup)

- You design your children's Halloween costumes to fit over a snow suit.( Not true, barely ever snows before halloween, only once in a blue moon, this year we had a dusting on oct 29.)

- Driving is always better in winter because the potholes are filled with snow.( HA HA so true)
- You find 20 degrees just a little chilly.(yeah isn't bad now -20 is bad, we would close school.)

- You can recite the four seasons: winter, still winter, almost winter, and construction.
- Words like "hoagie", "chipped ham", and "pop" actually mean something to you. ( Not sure what you people call a hoagie, basically just a sub, like sub way, chipped ham is ham slices chopped up, and pop is soda)
- You can use the phrase "fire-hall wedding reception" and not even bat an eye.(Were not that hickish wedding receptions are in firehalls)

- You think very little of an Amish buggy on the road.(true)
- You learned long ago how to "step carefully" around the buggy tie-ups in the supermarket parking lot.(Only see them at amish stores.)

- You constantly refer to Pennsylvania as "PA". How many other states do that?(I thought they all did)
- You can go 2 weeks in winter without sunshine and think this is normal.(Hate not seeing sun)

- You know that Blue Ball, Intercourse, Bird-in-Hand, Mars, Venus, and Slippery Rock are all PA towns.( HA HA intercourse PA)
