Hi,
Am tryin to network my desktop & laptop. Ping works only in one direction. Desktop for some reason doesnt respond.
I have disabled windows firewall and turned off the Norton firewall's intrusion prevention. It's a recent xp installation on bare metal and there isnt any other program running which could possibly prevent intrusion. I think there is some issue with the network settings.
Can some one suggest on what could be cause? which port No. could have been blocked?
