what to do with, " This MSI must be launched through set up"

i use norton internet security for my antivirus software..

i think a virus/worm got into my system and i tried fixing it.. it came to a point that when i restarted, i couldn't get into windows, it keeps on restarting when loading windows...

i fixed it using windows recovery console and got into windows.. but problems with my IE came.. when i search trendmicro.com in the address bar, i get redirected to google... i looked for different ways to download the trendmicro housecall and was finally able to run it..

it found 1 worm slenfbot.br, 1 trojan generic DIT, and two other spywares..

i was able to remove them using the housecall.. but now, two messages keep on popping up..

at first it was " This MSI must be launched through setup" then came "please wait while windows configures msredist" then now, its the "This MSI must be launched through setup" and "please wait while windows configures ccCommon"

Also norton keeps on notifying about blocking a Trojan...

and also there's a pagefile.sys 1.5gb created when the problems started..

Please download TFC by Old Timer and save it to your desktop.

Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately.

download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here
Save the installer to desktop

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
       
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
       
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
        * When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
       
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediately.

In addition,
Download [color=\"blue\"]random's system information tool (RSIT)[/color] by [color=\"#6600cc\"]random/random[/color] from >>[color=\"red\"]here[/color]<< and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to launch program.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Your firewall may alert you that RSIT is requesting Internet access. Please allow it.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open:  log.txt[color=\"red\"]<-- this will be maximized[/color] and info.txt[color=\"red\"]<-- this will be minimized[/color].
Post both those logs with the log from MBAM
