Rundll32.exe errors
« on: April 14, 2010, 07:35:39 PM »
I'm having issues on my computer that JUST started today. I have no clue what caused these changes I'm going to assume a virus..

I can't load ANY programs because I keep recieving the error message Rundll32.exe can't be found, or it keeps trying to have me pick a program to run on. I did look at similar and older posts but none of them seemed to help resolve my problems. The only things I can access is internet explorer and AVG. I tried scanning with AVG and found nothing, as well with online scanners nothing seemed to help. So if someone can...can you please walk me through and help me solve this problem?

-I'm running on windows XP

Download OTL.exe by OldTimer to your Desktop.
 • Close all windows and double click on OTL.exe to run it
 • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted.
 • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
 • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

NOTE: If you have trouble, or an error message trying to post the logs
Can you upload it to a reply box
In a Reply, select "Browse..." on the bottom right and then navigate to the file and select it
Then click "Upload"
