Firefox automatically close
« on: May 06, 2010, 05:22:22 AM »
My firefox browser version is 2.6.3, the lastest version up to now. After using approximately 3 weeks, it turned out to have problem. I opened it, after short of 5 secconds, my Windows 7 system said that The Firefox need to be closed. I don't know what to do to remove this such a nuisance otherwise i have reinstalled it many times.
Someone can help me please.

Actually, the latest stable version is 3.6.3, I'm sure that is what you meant

But anyways, can you do the following:
Download OTL.exe by OldTimer to your Desktop.
 • Close all windows and right click on OTL.exe and choose to "Run as Administrator"
 • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted.
 • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
 • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

NOTE: If you have trouble, or an error message trying to post the logs
Can you upload it to a reply box
In a Reply, select "Browse..." on the bottom right and then navigate to the file and select it
Then click "Upload"
