Hi gang. Just joined up, and need some opinions and ideas. After reading your thread on slipstreamin, i thought this would be the only forum out on the net to ask for such ideas.
Right, our company are thinking about getting a tablet PC, more exact - the Compaq T1000. We are gonna use it for our showreel made on dvd, (showing to potential clients) and digital imagery. Now i know it doesnt have a dvdrom drive built in, we\'d need to get the docking bag, then the multibay option, then the dvdrom! argh! so we were thinkin about copying the dvdmpegs to the hd and play \'em from there. The only thing is, our dvd\'s that we create are quite processormemory intestive due to the codec used.
Thats really all we would use it for.... so would compaq be the one?
what about the processor? anyone read anything about it? I know it was in the sony viaos a while back, it i didnt think it was that great, but now? its 1ghz?
has anyone got one and can give me some more info on them? What do you think of it?
